ABOUT
Ashley's artistic talent and creativity started at the young age of two. From her stick-people scribbles to colourful finger paintings, her "kid-artist" style soon developed into more sophisticated-like illustrations of eyeballs and unfashionably dressed females lined up in rows. Although she did well in other school subjects, art class was her favourite. In elementary, her teacher announced a Canadian wide Environmental Poster competition with a prize of five hundred dollars and Ashley was determined to win. She did.
With a never-ending supply of ideas and imagination, Ashley continued her love of creating and took as many art classes as she could in High School. She took a liking to several different artistic mediums and the more techniques she could try the better. In her grade 12 year, one of her photography pieces was hand picked to feature in the Emily Carr 75th Anniversary Young Artist's Exhibit and later that year she was awarded the Senior Fine Art Award at her school.
Discovering a knack for computers, Ashley dove into the world of digital art and pursued a post-secondary school education in graphic design. Since her graduation in 2004, Ashley has crafted her skills placing an abundance of life and colour into her work as a graphic and web designer.
Ashley currently lives on the Sunshine Coast in beautiful British Columbia with her amazingly awesome boyfriend and their two, slightly more than crazy, felines.
